About Sedanz, our beginnings...

 

Sedanz was founded by Ron Gil, an entrepreneur who at the time did not know where his black car gig would take him.  While in school, Ron needed a job with a flexible schedule in order to work around his college schedule.  With the help from his family, he purchased his first Lincoln Town Car in late 2007.  As he learned the potential of the black car business, he dropped out of school in order to pursue driving around his newly found clients (through referrals and word of mouth) and never looked back.  

Sedanz now focuses on bespoke chauffeured transportation for celebrities, dignitaries, C- level executives, and large event logistic coordination.  Our select fleet of sedans and SUV limos set us apart from most of the pact. Our vehicles are the newest available, our chauffeurs are properly screened, insured and background checked, and our back office staff will coordinate travel to your specific demands and needs. Sedanz also offers travel solutions through seamless booking software and a suite for large enterprise who book multiple vehicles for corporate employees.

Sedanz employee chauffeurs are held to the highest standard.  Ron wanted to make sure each chauffeur would treat Sedanz clients the way he would treat them when he couldn't personally drive them.  Sedanz vehicles are garage kept, fully licensed, insured and warrantied.  

While Sedanz operates out of New York City, our fleet reaches beyond the tri-state area. We have secured trips for our clients in all major cities such as Los Angeles, Boston, London, Paris, Stockholm and beyond.

 

Sedanz is an exclusive chauffeured transportation service.  Clients book point to point and by the hour transport in the NYC area via online, app or by phone and we provide the best in customer service, discretion and professionalism among the chauffeured transportation industry.

        RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare vehicle for beginning of day (client amenities, fuel card, and walk-through),
  • Accept trips via iPad and proceed to pickups in timely fashion
  • Plan routes, account for traffic and other client specific requests
  • Arrive to pickup locations and contact client upon arrival
  • Open doors and place luggage in vehicle for clients, proceed to destinations in most efficient route possible
  • Close trip upon destination and log details of reservation; debrief dispatch with those details
  • Be courteous, on time, professional and discreet with all trips dispatched
  • Upkeep vehicle between clients throughout the day
  • Close out vehicle at the end of day

        REQUIREMENTS:

  • NYC TLC License
  • NYS, NJ or CT Chauffeur class license (NY class E, CDL or equivalent)
  • Approve background, drug and DMV record checks
  • Customer service oriented experience
  • NYC knowledge of roads, major airports and highways (will be tested)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to use an iPad
  • Experience with luxury sedans (towncars) and SUVs (GM vehicles) a plus
